Location
Staff, staff, staff, especially reception staff, and it was very much surprising that no one wanted to tell me how to contact hotel general manager, and the worst is that one of the reception staff, Mr Wang tried to pretend that he is the gm "Mr Wong" !!!!! very bad, I was totally disappointed, especially that I booked 24 rooms for 2 nights and invited my guests overseas to this hotel, but it will be the last time to do so in this bad staff hotel, they were unhappy that I booked the rooms via Booked.net and tried to convince me to cancel it many times before 24 hrs, I have this in writing from them !!!!

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the shopping district of Wangfujin.
I was disappointed with the hotel wifi, not secure and often required us to switch to our data plans. I found the staff lacked the personal touch typically expected from a hotel of this caliber. Despite the appealing features in the images online, the overall ambiance felt less cute than I anticipated, and I missed a sense of warmth that is usually present in luxury hotels.

Very warm in the hotel room! For China at this time of year, who knows, a very important factor! Amazing relaxing bed, so for the first time in my life I slept in a hotel breakfast! Breakfasts, by the way, are more European, very good quality and delicious! I love this hotel: it's like a good wine, it only gets better over the years. Despite sparse rosettes and shabby marble in the bathroom, there is a spirit and aristocracy in it and a homely coziness. The location will definitely give a sense of your personality, as it is located on the main street, close to the most important attractions and quite safe for tourists!
Probably a bad day, reception staff were very disappointed. First had to prove that breakfast is included in the booking at Buckingham, very long check-in at 22. 00 pm, more slowness of the staff and in the end lack of service. asked about a lighter or matches, were confiscated for obvious reasons at the airport to smoke our guys, please note in the designated place on the street, naturally not in the hotel, with a lazy smile, staff answered that they do not smoke and sent to some shop 5 km away. I think that if the staff does not smoke, there are some guests who smoke, naturally in the street and in this situation I was outraged that the 5-star hotel does not have just matches at the reception to meet the needs of its guests.

The loacation is very good
It was very difficult to get a taxi at the hotel. We almost missed our flight because it took very long time to get a taxi even though we asked them to book one for us.

Luxury meets history in Beijing
The historic charm of the hotel was captivating, and waking up to the sound of bustling streets outside. The ambiance exuded elegance, a five-star experience.
The temperature controls in the room were quite challenging. Despite the lovely decor, we found ourselves feeling uncomfortably warm during the day and had to adjust with open windows.

I specially enjoyed my company but also the location was appreciated, close to thebig square and shopping facilities.
It took me way back in time, it feels really as oldcommunistic value. The long depressing corridors. But they composated it with nicely decorated bar. All over an experience but not of high value.
